About Rachel

Rachel enjoys helping individuals who struggle with all levels of anxiety. She also has a great understanding of the dynamics of a healthy relationship and can also offer great insight to clients who struggle with relationship issues.

Rachel leads with a Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) approach as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as she understands one method may work better for some clients than others. She enjoys linking past issues to present issues to work towards healing.

Rachel looks forward to helping you through thought-provoking questions and fostering an environment of openness. If you find it challenging to understand the reasons behind your behaviors and experience strained relationships, let’s talk about it. Together, we will work on strategies that allow you to address the root causes of your difficulties.

Rachel received her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Katie Nix, MA LPC-Supervisor. Rachel completed her practicum hours at an outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center.
