Am I Depressed?

One of the # 1 searches on the internet today is "am I depressed?". People everywhere are struggling with low mood and wondering if this is depression. Using this depression inventory will help understand if you are struggling with depression and if you should seek help.

  1. Do you have little interest or pleasure in doing things?

  2. Do you feel hopeless that things will be positive in the future?

  3. Do you feel tired or have little energy?

  4. Do you feel bad about yourself, feel you are a failure, or feel you are letting others down?

  5. Do you have trouble concentrating on things?

  6. Do you have thoughts that you would be better off dead or of hurting yourself?

If you answered yes to any of these and this problem is interfering with your work, relationships, sleep, or appetite, you may be struggling with depression. Our therapists at Bright Space Therapy work with clients struggling with depression, suicidal thoughts, and self harm often. We provide a safe place to talk about these struggles and create treatment plans with our clients specific needs in mind that can help heal depression.

You are not alone and you do not have to suffer in silence. Call us today or book online for an initial appointment. If you are suicidal, call the national suicide hotline now at 800-273-8255.

As always, if you have any questions, reach out to me directly at katie@brightspacetherapy.com.
