About Kristin

Kristin has a caring, nonjudgmental presence and creates a safe space for you to explore yourself and the challenges you are facing. Through counseling and coaching, she supports you in working through difficult issues and creating a more meaningful and balanced life. 

 

She specializes in college age and adult counseling for identity issues, anxiety, depression, transitions, self-esteem, women-specific issues, career counseling and a number of other issues. She works from a solution focused, humanistic and cognitive behavioral approach to understand the issues you are facing and how to work through them. You are the expert of your own life but sometimes it takes an outside perspective to move forward and that is how she can help.

Kristin Smart received her Master of Arts in Counselor Education from The University of Texas at Austin and is a Licensed Professional Counselor.
